JEFF MEIERER plays mandolin and provides lead and back-up vocals. Jeff was born in Niagra Falls, NY and was raised in Charleston, SC. Jeff spent many years doing solo gigs on guitar & harmonica. After shaking hands with Bill Monroe, the father of bluegrass music, he fell in love with the mandolin and has been playing it ever since. There is not much in life that he loves more than playing & listening to bluegrass music. Jeff & his wife Kristen met at Clemson University. Their kids Jake & Ben are raised in a loving bluegrass home!

KRISTEN MEIERER plays acoustic upright bass for YeeHaw Junction. Kristen was born and raised in Eustis, FL, a small town not far from Yeehaw Junction, FL, our band’s namesake.   Kristen played guitar when she was young. After marrying Jeff in 1998, they used their wedding money to buy her first upright bass and the rest is history. She’s been thumping away ever since. Kristen’s CPA business keeps her busy when she’s not playing music or chasing Jake & Ben.

DAVID BROWN plays fiddle and sings baritone for YeeHaw Junction.  David’s warm vocal harmonies combined with his energetic fiddling will bring a smile to your face.  Born to a musical family in Asheville, North Carolina, David also plays piano, trumpet, guitar, classical violin, and sings in the church choir.  He picked up the fiddle at Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C. where he studied under Craig Duncan.  He has played in the Charleston area since 1982.  David lives in Alvin, SC and is a forester.

DAVID GRANT plays rhythm guitar and sings lead & tenor harmony vocals for YeeHaw Junction.  David has been playing bluegrass for 20 years. He was inspired very early by the work of Bill Monroe and Jimmy Martin and has a great traditional sound and strong rhythm guitar. He has played in bands from Clemson to Charlotte to Columbia and now Charleston.  David lives in Mt. Pleasant, SC and is a forester.

TADD HUFF plays solid banjo for YeeHaw Junction.  Tadd is from the hills of Kentucky.  His mom taught him John Henry on the banjo when he was a young boy and he has been pickin’ it ever since.  Tadd has played in numerous bands and can play a number of instruments. Tadd lives in Summerville, SC and is a banjo instructor, a preacher and a certified hypnotist.
